Peak Absurdity

Have we reached it yet? There seems to be a race to the top going on and this is sharply defined in the political arena, which serves as the enabler of everything that goes on under the umbrella of government.

Governments create laws and laws are the rules of the game for societies must exist within bounds though in Peak Absurdity times the boundaries that societies- especially the boundaries that the upper crust knows in this society- are being bent to lengths never seen before.

Which leads those of us constrained by our much tighter boundaries, those of us in the regular folks levels, highly confused, for if boundaries are meant to contain where exactly are they? We seek clearly defined rules instituted by just leadership but find only some. As to the rest we decide to rule ourselves, reasoning that common sense is the better path to follow.

We do this because our boundaries are more immediately felt. We exist within structures that we make as comfortable, fair, and logical as possible, while outside of our levels there is so little containment it appears that reason has been replaced by fantastical thinking, PR firms, and many levels of lawyers. There, hard science flies out the window and is replaced by words, claims, and whatever else will obscure it. Global economics' cause and effect rationality is not in effect. We are asked to believe in things that range from suspect to obviously not true and if we show resistance another dose of illogic is applied to get us 'on message'.

Things make better sense from this perspective….

The pervasive message is, like in '1984', that "absurdity is here to stay and you'd better get used to nothing making sense" but that which does not make sense collapses over time, and perhaps suddenly. While the truth can be stretched it cannot be abandoned. Anybody that asks for absolute adherence towards unsupported suppositions cannot be taken seriously for seriously is how things actually work. Machines, after all, only run on facts. There are physical laws, economic laws, and societal laws that cannot be brushed aside.

The present day political landscape is populated by some who would like to lead their constituents on to freakish and nonsensical lands but I'm afraid they cannot take them there for the bridge they must cross will collapse due to the fragility of it's structure (thank God). Some will try to cross it even so.

Reality is, there are certain realms to which we cannot gain entrance. Many of us know that and will stop long before setting out on any fool's journey no matter how polished the presentation or passionate the plea. Still, there are those who persist in making outlandish claims that they can not only build the perfect society, they can maintain it!

Think I’ll pass on Fantasyland though, because due the absence of any rational, well thought out, and understandable plans, my choice is not to be involved with any ‘startups’!
